For the past two months, Libby has been working at the Glenholme School, a therapeutic boarding school for children with learning disabilities and other behavioral differences. Operated under Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Libby and her colleagues implement a token economy that allows students to be rewarded for positive behaviors rather than drawing attention to and punishing undesired ones.

For the past two months, lab and UConn alumna Taylor Brosnihan has been working as a case manager for the “young adult services” at United Services, Inc.!
United Services, Inc. is a clinical mental health program for young adults 18-25, many of whom are people aging out of the DCF (Department of Children and Families) system. Taylor helps her clients get connected with DSS (Department of Social Services), SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and DMH (Department of Mental Health), helps them find apartments and jobs, runs skill-based groups, helps come up with treatment plans, signs them up for conservators, or helps them go do whatever they want to do.
